Your Print Questions, Solved.
Straight answers to your most common print questions.
Can I use my Canva design?
Absolutely! Just download your Canva design as a high-res PDF with crop marks and bleed. Pro tip: Set up your design at the correct size before you start creating.
What file types do you accept?
We work with print-ready PDFs, AI, EPS, TIFF, and high-res JPEGs. For best results, go with PDF format – just make sure your images are embedded and fonts are outlined.
CMYK or RGB?
Always use CMYK for print projects to get accurate colors. If you send us RGB files, what you see on screen might not match what comes off the printer.
Resolution for large-format printing?
For big stuff, 150 dpi at final size works great. Smaller graphics or posters? Stick with 300 dpi for that crisp, professional look.
How do I handle bleeds and margins?
Add 0.125″ bleed on all sides, and keep anything important at least 0.25″ from the edge. This prevents any important elements from getting chopped off during trimming.
Do I need to outline my fonts?
Yes! Always convert text to outlines or paths. This avoids any font compatibility headaches and ensures your text prints exactly as designed.
My file isn't print-ready – can you fix it?
No problem! We offer file correction and prep for a small fee. Just send what you’ve got, and we’ll handle the rest.
Can you match my brand colors?
Definitely. Send us your Pantone (PMS) colors, and we’ll match them as closely as possible. Just know there might be slight variations depending on the material and printing process.
How do I avoid pixelated prints?
Start with high-resolution images and avoid enlarging small files. Design at the correct size from the beginning, and you’ll be good to go.
Can you use my existing logo or graphics?
As long as they’re high-resolution or vector format. Not sure if yours will work? Send it over, and we’ll check it out for you.
Do you offer Pantone color matching?
Yes! We match Pantone colors as closely as possible, though slight variations might occur depending on the material and ink type.
